Job Summary
Analyze and forecast financial, economic, and market data to support strategic and operational decisions for primary care organization reserve development. Establish metrics, evaluate industry trends, and oversee root cause analysis of trend drivers to develop cost-effective solutions. Lead a team of specialized actuarial professionals, communicate complex model results, and ensure data integrity through effective controls. Partner with stakeholders to solve business challenges and articulate trade-offs to senior leaders and external audiences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree FSA or ASA
- plus relevant advanced degree
- MAAA
- extensive work experience
- other relevant professional designations
- Demonstrated leadership capability
- Demonstrated ability to articulate ideas effectively in both written and oral forms
- Experience in more than three functions
- Experience in modeling
- Experience in pricing
- Experience in rate filing
- Experience in reporting & analysis
- Experience in reserving
- Experience in trending
- Experience in more than one product
- At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps
- an upload speed of 10 Mbps
- wireless, wired cable or DSL connection
- occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings
