Job Summary
GAAP financial close for the Property and Casualty segments; review underlying data for accurate reporting, support Line of Business Finance, Reinsurance and Actuarial teams, and act as quality reviewer of work. Lead monthly reconciliations, develop and run allocations/reports from the general ledger and TM1, compare actuals to outlook and prior periods to explain variances, contribute to quarterly/annual GAAP reporting, and support audit needs including SOX and external/regulatory requests. Identify improvement opportunities, lead special projects involving accounting expertise and generative AI, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure accuracy, completeness, and audit readiness.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
- CPA, or MBA a plus
