Job Summary
Acute Surgery Unit - RN travel assignment in Georgia. Requires 12 months of nursing experience with 3 months in the last year and 24 months of Medical-Surgical experience in the last 24 months. Must hold a Georgia or compact license. Travel only (not local); candidates must live more than 50 miles from the facility. Night shift (7:00 PM–7:30 AM), 13-week contract with 12-hour shifts, 3 shifts per week, and holiday considerations. Certifications required include BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS. Pre-employment modules may be required, and upload of certifications/health documents is encouraged. Shift varies; minor holidays to cover. Driver’s license required for submission.
Required Qualifications
- Georgia license or compact license required for submission
- Travel only, local not allowed; candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support)
- NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
- 12 months of experience in their specialty with 3 months in last 12 months
- 24 months of Medical Surgical Unit experience in last 24 months
- Certifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support, Basic Life Support, NIH Stroke Scale
