Job Summary
Acute RN - Neurology position at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital. The role is full-time, day shift (36 hours/week) with a $15,000 hiring bonus for eligible RN candidates. The nurse will deliver world-class care through patient-focused, whole-person care and apply specialized training to the neurology acute care unit. Requirements include graduation from an accredited nursing program, WA RN License on hire, BLS and ACLS certifications on hire, NIH Stroke Scale training within 90 days, and 1 year of acute care experience or completion of the facility's specialty residency. Preferred: National Certification in area of specialty. Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Upon hire: Washington Registered Nurse License.
- National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale Certificate - NIH Stroke Scale Training Course within 90 days of hire
- National Provider ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
- 1 year Acute care experience with the patient population similar to department of hire or completion of the specialty residency located at the facility.
