Job Summary
Acute RN - Neurology at Providence Sacred Heart Medical Center & Children's Hospital. Deliver world-class, patient-focused neurological care leveraging specialized training and证 NIH Stroke Scale within 90 days, plus BLS and ACLS. Requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, Washington RN license, and at least 1 year of acute care experience (or completion of the facility's specialty residency). Responsibilities include applying specialized training to care for neurology patients, utilizing NIH Stroke Scale assessments, maintaining required certifications, and contributing to a culture of mutual respect and high-quality patient outcomes. This role is scheduled full-time, on-site with multiple shifts available.
Required Qualifications
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Washington Registered Nurse License upon hire
- BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
- NIH Stroke Scale Certificate within 90 days of hire
- ACLS - American Heart Association within 90 days of hire
- 1 year - Acute care experience with the patient population similar to department of hire or completion of the specialty residency located at the facility
