Acute Rehab Unit Registered Nurse (Part Time, Night Shift)

Provide direct nursing care to patients with physical disabilities, trauma, or chronic illness on 2,12-hour night shifts from 5pm to 5:30am. Create and implement written plans of care, modifying them based on patient reassessment and progress. Administer medications per physician orders, perform selective procedures including IV starts and phlebotomy, and document all interventions accurately in the electronic medical record. Successfully transition patients through walking rounds and provide clear reports to incoming staff while advising physicians and families of condition changes. Offer discharge education to patients and family members, and may precept new employees.
