Acute Nurse Clinical Nurse - FT Nights

Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of nursing care. Promotes patient and family centered care in a healing environment; educates patients and families on illness/injury management and post-treatment home care needs. Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance; develops and documents individual plans of care in collaboration with the interprofessional team, patient, family or caregiver; communicates the plan of care across the continuum of care. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess and evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, and supports care aligned with patient values and preferences. This is a safety-sensitive RN role in Acute Care Medicine at Barnes-Jewish Hospital with opportunities for professional development and career ladder advancement.
