Acute Medicine Registered Nurse (FT Days) (Saint Louis)

Provide direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within nursing care standards. Promote patient and family-centered care in a healing environment by educating patients and families on illness management, post-treatment home care needs, and medication administration. Develop, implement, and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team, ensuring communication across the continuum of care. Use critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting patient preferences, values, and cultural requirements. Participate in activities that promote patient safety, quality, and regulatory compliance, and engage in professional development. Work a full-time day shift from 7am to 7pm with 12-hour shifts and a 4/5:1 ratio, rotating every third weekend.
