Acute Medicine Registered Nurse (6200) FT NIGHTS

Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for acute medical conditions including blood dyscrasias, heart failure, renal failure, and infectious diseases. Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment home care, and medication administration while promoting patient safety and regulatory compliance. Develop and document individual plans of care in collaboration with the interprofessional team, ensuring communication across the continuum of care. Utilize critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, including cultural and spiritual preferences. Work 12-hour night shifts (7pm-7am) in a 25-bed Magnet-certified unit supported by advanced practice nurses, case managers, and social workers.
