Acute Medicine Clinical Nurse - Part Time Nights

Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation within the guidelines of the standards of nursing care in the Acute Care Medicine unit (Unit 5200) at Barnes-Jewish Hospital. Educates patients and families on post-treatment home care needs and medication administration; promotes patient safety and participates in quality, regulatory compliance, and professional development. Develops, implements, and documents individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interprofessional team, patient, and family, ensuring effective communication across the continuum of care. Requires RN licensure and nursing education (Nursing Diploma/Associate's with Bachelor’s preferred) and is a safety-sensitive position. This role is part-time nights and emphasizes caring for patients at the top of the nursing license while advancing professional development and career ladder opportunities.
