Acute Medicine Clinical Nurse - Full Time Nights

Provides direct patient care activities including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation within the standards of nursing care. Promotes patient- and family-centered care in a healing environment; educates patients and families on illness management and post-treatment home care needs and medication administration. Participates in activities that promote patient safety, quality and regulatory compliance; engages in professional development. Develops, implements, and documents individualized plans of care in collaboration with the interprofessional team, patient, family or caregiver, communicating across the continuum of care. Utilizes critical nursing skills to assess and address physical, psychosocial, emotional, cultural and population-specific needs.
