Acute Medicine Clinical Nurse - FT NIGHTS (Saint Louis)

Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care for acute medicine patients ranging from blood dyscrasias to heart and renal failure. Educate patients and families on illness management, post-treatment home care, and medication administration while promoting patient safety and regulatory compliance. Develop and document individual plans of care with defined goals in collaboration with the interprofessional team, ensuring communication across the continuum. Use critical nursing skills to assess physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, including patient preferences and cultural values. Work 12-hour night shifts as a safety-sensitive position requiring constant alertness.
