Acute Medicine Clinical Nurse

Acute Medicine Clinical Nurse provides direct patient care with assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation and evaluation within established nursing standards. Responsibilities include promoting patient- and family-centered care, educating patients and families on illness management and post-treatment home care, ensuring patient safety, participating in quality and regulatory activities, engaging in professional development, and developing/performing plans of care in collaboration with the interprofessional team and patient/family. Must be able to work nights in a safety-sensitive role and participate in orientation; the role supports ongoing career ladder advancement and professional growth within a Magnet-designated, top-tier nursing environment.
