Acute Internal Medicine Registered Nurse - Days

Acute Internal Medicine Registered Nurse providing direct patient care for patients with acute medical conditions on 12-hour day shifts (7am–7pm). Works with physicians and an interprofessional team to assess, plan, implement and evaluate care, educate patients and families on illness management and home care needs, promote patient safety and quality/regulatory compliance, and develop individualized plans of care. Unit is supported by a clinical manager, lead charge nurse, and multidisciplinary staff; role emphasizes professional development and opportunity for advancement on the BJC RN Career Ladder.
