Job Summary
Per Diem Acute Inpatient RN for Dialysis at Fresenius Medical Care's Cape Cod Acute Program. Provides and coordinates clinically competent care including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation for an assigned patient group; performs dialysis procedures, administers medications, and participates in education for patients and families. May delegate to RNs, LVNs/LPNs, and Patient Care Technicians; serves as a resource, leader, coach, and mentor to staff; may precept new employees and assist in outpatient facilities as needed. Requires current state RN licensure, CPR/BLS certification, and 2+ years of nephrology nursing experience; travel to multiple facilities and on-call rotation may be required. Hourly rate ranges from $39 to $65 depending on location and qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- Current appropriate state RN licensure
- CPR BLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years nephrology nursing experience as an RN
- Entry level for CAP advancement (CAP2) or equivalent
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist with patient care as described in the job posting
