Job Summary
Per Diem Inpatient RN role specializing in dialysis; provides direct patient care across modalities including hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, ultrafiltration, and apheresis. Supervises Patient Care Technicians and clerical staff; offers education to ICU staff for CRRT. Requires current state RN licensure and a minimum of 1 year RN experience with nephrology experience preferred. Strong assessment and coordination with physicians and hospital team to ensure quality patient care and timely documentation; travel between assigned hospitals and on-call rotation including nights/weekends/holidays. Fresenius Medical Care exposure and certification in nephrology or apheresis nursing encouraged.
Required Qualifications
- Current appropriate state RN licensure
- Minimum 1 year RN experience
- Minimum 6 months nephrology experience before independent work
- Certification in Nephrology Nursing or Apheresis Nursing highly encouraged
