Job Summary
Acute inpatient dialysis RN position providing clinically competent care for an assigned group of patients across multiple Fresenius Kidney Care facilities. Responsibilities include ongoing data collection and analysis before, during, and after dialysis treatment; adjusting treatment plans as indicated; documenting in the medical record; educating patients and families; collaborating with health team members; directing and providing safe, effective patient care; coordinating communication with dialysis providers and facility staff; administering medications and responding to emergencies; serving as a resource, leader, mentor, and role model for staff; potential to participate in CAP progression and to work at the three specified hospitals. Requires dialysis experience, current RN licensure, CPR/BLS, willingness to work at multiple sites, and rotating day shifts with on-call obligations.
Required Qualifications
- Current appropriate state licensure
- Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years or more of Nephrology Nursing experience as an RN
- Acute dialysis experience (preferred)
- 6 months experience in acute dialysis as an RN (for supervisory/oversee role)
- Ability to work at multiple facilities: Lankenau Medical Center, Bryn Mawr Hospital, Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital
- Must be able to work 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, rotating shifts, on-call Sunday
- Fresenius Kidney Care policy adherence
