Job Summary
Provide dialysis treatment under supervision, gather patient stats before/after treatment, initiate and monitor hemodialysis, collect blood samples per physician orders; prepare and disinfect dialysis machines, log quality checks; follow safety protocols and state/federal regulations; requires USRC training completion within 8 weeks and CPR certification within 90 days; PCT certification within 18 months; high school diploma or equivalent; preferred healthcare/dialysis experience; able to distinguish colors; role based in Moorhead, MS, US (on-site).
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Successful completion of USRC training program approved by the Medical Director, including demonstrated competency; completion of the USRC training course in theory and practice of hemodialysis within 8 weeks of hire
- CPR certification required within 90 days of hire or as required by state
- Patient Care Technician certification must be obtained through a state certification program or national certification within 18 months of hire and maintained in good standing
- Desire to work in healthcare and care for patients
- Previous healthcare experience in dialysis, phlebotomy, or as a CNA is a plus
- Ability to distinguish all primary colors
