Job Summary
Develop and implement processes for program growth while planning patient scheduling to ensure timely acceptance and effective staffing levels. Achieve financial targets for budget, labor, and supply costs by overseeing equipment maintenance, inventory levels, and compliance with federal, state, and local laws. Coordinate all department functions, review incident reports, and develop corrective action plans for internal and external surveys. Maintain chronological patient documentation, monitor quality metrics, and conduct staff meetings to promote quality management programs. Recruit, train, and supervise personnel while evaluating performance and counseling employees. Establish positive relationships with hospital staff, physicians, vendors, and the community to promote customer service standards and respond to inquiries.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- Must have basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Proficiency in all USRC clinical applications
- Ability to meet minimum hospital/agency hiring standards which may include additional background clearances and orientation requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Current RN license in applicable state
- Demonstrated ability to function in a leadership position and to perform in new and emergent situations with sound judgment
- 1 year previous hospital dialysis management experience
- Demonstrated working knowledge of the English language and ability to communicate verbally and in writing
