Job Summary
Conduct screening, evaluation, treatment, and education for patients with impairments in speech, language, cognitive-communication, voice, fluency, and swallowing. Deliver early access to instrumental swallow studies (VFSS/MBSS, FEES) across acute care, ICU, and medical-surgical populations while collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to create individualized treatment plans. Manage advanced airway cases including tracheostomy, ventilator, and total laryngectomy care within established clinical pathways. Maintain compliance with ASHA standards and demonstrate critical thinking, problem-solving, and stress management in a high-acuity environment. Full-time and PRN opportunities available at Cape Coral, Gulf Coast, HealthPark, and Lee Memorial hospitals.
Required Qualifications
- Masters Degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Certificate of Clinical Competency
- BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support)
- Active Florida State Speech Language Pathologist Licensure
