Acute Care Registered Nurse in Medical-Surgical unit providing high-quality, patient-centered care. Responsible for patient assessment at admission and during shifts, performing procedures and documenting care, administering prescribed medications, responding to patient needs, and educating patients, families, and caregivers about conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures. Collaboration with medical providers and care team to ensure positive clinical outcomes; adheres to established nursing models and acts as an advocate for patients and families.
