Job Summary
Acute Care RN responsible for coordinating care and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams. Performs patient assessments, develops individualized plans of care, administers medications, documents care, and educates patients and families. Responsibilities include patient rounding to maximize satisfaction and quality, applying nursing process to meet patient needs, and demonstrating technical skills. Requires graduation from an accredited School of Professional Nursing, Tennessee nursing licensure, and BLS certification; Med-Surg certification to be pursued/completed within 1 year of hire. Location: Parkridge East Hospital in East Ridge, TN; on-site role with hospital-based care.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing
- Current licensure by Tennessee Board of Nursing
- Current BLS certification
- Pursue and complete Med-Surg certification within 1 year from date of hire
- Minimum of 1-year med/surg experience preferred
