Job Summary
Provide post-anesthesia care in a hospital-at-home setting, monitoring and stabilizing patients recovering from anesthesia, managing airways, pain, and hemodynamics. Document care in the EMR, educate patients and families, and uphold safety and infection-control standards. Collaborate closely with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure safe recovery and timely discharge or transfer, contributing to nationwide patient outcomes. Emphasizes teamwork, accountability, growth opportunities, and a supportive culture.
Required Qualifications
- Nursing license in good standing (RN)
- Current CPR/BLS
- ACLS preferred
- PACU experience preferred
- ability to monitor and manage post-anesthesia patients
- EMR documentation proficiency
- strong patient/family education skills
