Job Summary
Coordinate and deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with organizational policies, protocols, and the nursing process. Conduct thorough patient assessments, administer prescribed medications, and monitor for side effects while documenting findings accurately. Respond to medical emergencies, participate in life-saving interventions, and assist physicians during procedures within your scope of competency. Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop individualized care plans, advocate for patient rights, and provide education on medical conditions and post-discharge care. Implement infection control protocols, operate medical equipment, and adhere to National Patient Safety Goals. Participate in audits, chart reviews, and performance improvement initiatives to enhance patient outcomes. Requires 0-2 years of acute care experience, RN licensure, and BCLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- 0-2 years of experience in a clinical nursing role or student clinical rotations in an acute care setting
- Strong knowledge of the nursing process and clinical nursing practices
- Ability to perform thorough patient assessments and communicate findings effectively
- Proficient in administering medications and monitoring for side effects
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with interdisciplinary teams
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in documenting patient care
- Knowledge of safety standards, infection control, and quality improvement initiatives
- RN - Registered Nurse - State Licensure and/or Compact State Licensure
- BCLS - Basic Life Support
