Acute Care Registered Nurse

Assess patient conditions during admission and each shift, promptly identifying and reporting status changes. Perform procedures, monitor patients for therapeutic response, and document care administration thoroughly. Administer prescribed medications, anticipate patient needs, and resolve requests by responding promptly. Educate patients, families, and caregivers about medical conditions, treatment plans, medications, and follow-up measures. Collaborate with medical providers to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care while acting as an advocate for patients and caregivers. This role supports Parkridge Medical Center's comprehensive diagnostic, medical, and surgical services, including cardiovascular surgery, cancer treatment, and a Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit.
