Job Summary
Provides direct patient care, assists with coordination of patient education and activity planning. Responsible for patient assessment, intervention, evaluation, education and supervision of ECG (telemetry and non-telemetry), and exercise therapy.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Exercise Science or related field
- 1 year of experience with emphasis on knowledge of cardiac medication, exercise physiology, nutrition, counseling techniques and patient education
- Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association
- Preferred Qualification: Master\'s Degree in Exercise Science or related field
- Upon hire: Certification by the American College of Sports Medicine
