Acute Care - Registered Nurse (RN)- Neuro - Full-Time Night Shift

Job Summary
Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for patients in the neuro unit. Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care while partnering with families for teaching and goal setting. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds, documentation, and care delivery to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. Participate in shared governance, performance improvement initiatives, and evidence-based practice activities. Mentor staff and students to support workforce development. Complete all mandatory education and competency assessments. Adhere to Wellstar policies, the Georgia Nurse Practice Act, and TJC safety goals.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- Required direct patient care experience Preferred
