Job Summary
Conduct the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for neuro patients using evidence-based practice. Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care while partnering with families for teaching and goal setting. Coordinate interdisciplinary communication through rounds and case reviews, ensuring timely documentation and safe care delivery. Mentor staff and students, participate in performance improvement initiatives, and contribute to protocol development. Maintain licensure and complete mandatory education requirements. Night shift position in Wellstar's integrated health system.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed RN (Single State) or RN-COMPACT (Multi-state Compact)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) or ARC-BLS (Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support) or BLS-I (Basic Life Support - Instructor)
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- Required direct patient care experience
