Job Summary
Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care using evidence-based practice while coordinating interdisciplinary rounds and teaching. Provide relationship-based, culturally diverse care to neuro patients and their families, ensuring timely documentation and adherence to the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act. Mentor preceptors and staff, participate in performance improvement projects, and develop protocols to reduce re-admissions and adverse events. Maintain BLS certification and complete mandatory education while supporting Wellstar's shared governance model.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed Registered Nurse (RN) - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing
- Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- Required direct patient care experience
- Less than 1 year
- Night (United States of America)
