Job Summary
Conduct direct patient care for neurology patients by performing the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds and documentation to ensure safe, quality care while partnering with patients and families on goals and teaching. Uphold evidence-based practice standards, participate in performance improvement activities, and mentor staff to foster a professional environment. Work the night shift in Wellstar's integrated health system, adhering to Georgia nursing practice laws and supporting shared governance initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- Required direct patient care experience Preferred
