Job Summary
Perform the Nursing Process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice for individualized patient care. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds, case reviews, and timely documentation while partnering with patients and families to set goals and provide bedside teaching. Uphold Wellstar policies, TJC safety goals, and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act, and actively participate in shared governance, performance improvement initiatives, and protocol development. Mentor staff and students to support workforce retention and model professional standards.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- Required direct patient care experience Preferred
