Job Summary
Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation using evidence-based practice for individualized patient care. Coordinate interdisciplinary communication through rounds and case reviews while documenting safe, quality care. Partner with patients and families to set goals and provide education, adapting service delivery to population-specific characteristics. Complete mandatory education, serve as a preceptor or mentor, and participate in performance improvement activities and shared governance. Uphold Wellstar policies, TJC safety goals, and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act while proactively planning care across the continuum.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- Required direct patient care experience Preferred
