Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, and evaluations for neuro patients while implementing evidence-based care plans. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds, document care progress, and partner with families to set patient-centered goals. Mentor new staff and participate in shared governance activities to drive performance improvement and protocol development. Uphold Georgia Nurse Practice Act standards and Wellstar safety absolutes during night shift coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- Required direct patient care experience Preferred
