Job Summary
Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for neuro patients while coordinating care through interdisciplinary rounds and bedside shift reports. Provide relationship-based, culturally diverse care and partner with patients and families to set goals and update them on care plans. Document safe quality patient care, participate in shared governance and performance improvement activities, and mentor preceptors or students. Maintain current licensure, complete mandatory education, and uphold Wellstar policies and evidence-based practice standards. Night shift full-time role with less than one year of direct patient care experience preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- Required direct patient care experience Preferred
