Job Summary
Perform the nursing process using evidence-based practice to deliver individualized, relationship-based care to patients and families. Coordinate interdisciplinary communication, complete timely documentation, and partner with significant others to set patient goals. Participate in shared governance, performance improvement activities, and research utilization to promote safe, quality outcomes. Mentor staff and students while completing mandatory education and competency assessments. Uphold Wellstar policies, TJC safety goals, and legal regulatory standards. Night shift employment in a clinical environment supported by the Wellstar Shared Governance Model.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- Required direct patient care experience Preferred
