Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, and evaluations for neuro patients while implementing individualized care plans based on evidence-based practice. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds, document care progress, and partner with families to set patient goals. Mentor staff and students, lead performance improvement initiatives, and contribute to protocol development to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. Maintain compliance with Georgia Nurse Practice Act, TJC safety goals, and Wellstar policies. Night shift rotation required; associates degree or BSN preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed RN (Single State) or RN-COMPACT (Multi-state Compact)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) or ARC-BLS (Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support) or BLS-I (Basic Life Support - Instructor)
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- Required direct patient care experience
