Acute Care - Registered Nurse (RN)- Neuro - Full-Time Night Shift

Job Summary
Conduct the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for neuro patients using evidence-based practice. Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care while partnering with families for teaching and goal setting. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds, documentation, and case reviews to ensure safe, quality care delivery. Participate in shared governance, performance improvement initiatives, and protocol development to reduce adverse events. Mentor staff and students to build a qualified workforce. Uphold Wellstar policies, TJC safety goals, and the Georgia Nurse Practice Act. Complete mandatory education and competency assessments. Night shift full-time.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- Required direct patient care experience Preferred
