Job Summary
Perform the Nursing Process using evidence-based practice to deliver individualized, relationship-based care for patients and families. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds, document safely, and partner with significant others to set goals and update care plans. Lead performance improvement initiatives, participate in shared governance, and mentor preceptors to support the nursing workforce. Complete mandatory education, uphold Georgia Nurse Practice Act standards, and comply with all Wellstar policies and safety absolutes. Night shift full-time role within Wellstar's integrated health system in Georgia.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- Required direct patient care experience Preferred
