Job Summary
Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for individualized patient care. Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care while partnering with patients and families through bedside reports, interdisciplinary rounds, and just-in-time teaching. Coordinate safe quality care delivery via timely documentation and diverse interdisciplinary communication. Uphold Wellstar policies, the Georgia Nurse Practice Act, and evidence-based practice standards. Complete mandatory education, serve as a preceptor or mentor, and participate in performance improvement activities.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- Required direct patient care experience Preferred
