Job Summary
Conduct the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for patients in the neuro ICU. Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care while partnering with families for teaching and goal setting. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds, documentation, and case reviews to ensure safe, high-quality outcomes. Uphold Wellstar policies, evidence-based practice standards, and TJC safety goals. Mentor new staff and participate in performance improvement initiatives. Complete mandatory education and competency assessments.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- Required direct patient care experience Preferred
