Job Summary
Conduct the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for individualized patient care in a neuro acute care setting. Partner with patients and families to set goals and provide bedside teaching, while coordinating interdisciplinary rounds and documentation to ensure safe, quality outcomes. Uphold evidence-based practice standards, participate in performance improvement initiatives, and mentor staff or students to support workforce development. Adhere to Wellstar policies, the Georgia Nurse Practice Act, and American Nurses Association ethics standards. Requires an RN license, BLS certification, and less than one year of direct patient care experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- Required direct patient care experience Preferred
