Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, and evaluations for acute neuro patients using evidence-based practice. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds, document care plans, and partner with families to set individualized goals. Perform bedside shift reports, teach patients, and lead performance improvement initiatives to reduce re-admissions. Mentor staff and students while upholding Wellstar's safety absolutes and shared governance standards. Complete mandatory education and preceptor duties to support a qualified workforce. Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- Required direct patient care experience Preferred
