Job Summary
Conduct patient care assessments, diagnoses, and evaluations using evidence-based practice while partnering with families to set individualized goals. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds, document care plans, and lead performance improvement initiatives within the Wellstar Shared Governance Model. Mentor preceptors and staff to support workforce development and uphold the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act. Participate in data collection, value analysis, and protocol development to reduce re-admissions and adverse events. Requires an RN license, BLS certification, and less than one year of direct patient care experience. Night shift position in Georgia.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- Required direct patient care experience Preferred
