Job Summary
Perform the Nursing Process (assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, evaluation) using evidence-based practice to deliver individualized, relationship-based care for patients and significant others. Coordinate interdisciplinary communication, complete timely documentation, and partner with the team to promote safe, quality patient care outcomes. Uphold the Georgia Professional Nurse Practice Act, American Nurses Association standards, and Wellstar policies while participating in shared governance, performance improvement, and research activities. Serve as a preceptor or mentor to ensure a qualified future workforce. Maintain licensure, BLS certification, and complete all mandatory education requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- Required direct patient care experience Preferred
