Acute Care - Registered Nurse (RN)- Neuro - Full-Time Night Shift

Job Summary
Perform the nursing process including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation for neuro patients using evidence-based practice. Provide relationship-based, patient-centered care while partnering with families for teaching and goal setting. Coordinate interdisciplinary communication, complete timely documentation, and participate in shared governance activities and performance improvement initiatives. Mentor staff and students to support workforce development and lead or contribute to protocol development for best practice outcomes. Adhere to Georgia Nurse Practice Act and Wellstar safety absolutes. Night shift full-time position requires RN license and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed RN (Single State) or RN-COMPACT (Multi-state Compact)
- BLS (Basic Life Support) or ARC-BLS (Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support) or BLS-I (Basic Life Support - Instructor)
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- Required direct patient care experience
