Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments, diagnoses, and evaluations for acute neuro patients while implementing individualized care plans based on evidence-based practice. Coordinate interdisciplinary rounds, document care progress, and partner directly with patients and families to set goals and provide education. Uphold the Georgia Nurse Practice Act and Wellstar safety standards by participating in performance improvement initiatives, leading quality projects, and mentoring new staff. Maintain current licensure and certifications including BLS, and complete mandatory professional development. Required Qualifications
- Associates Nursing or Diploma (Nurse) Nursing or Bachelors Nursing-Preferred
- RN - Reg Nurse (Single State) or RN-COMPACT - RN - Multi-state Compact
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor
- Less than 1 year Completion of accredited/ approved school of nursing with requisition clinical hours
- Required direct patient care experience Preferred
