Acute Care - Registered Nurse/LPN IV Alternating Shifts

Registered Nurse (RN) or LPN-IV providing primary and emergency care in a rural 25-bed critical access hospital. Responsibilities include implementing physicians’ orders, administering medications and starting IVs, performing treatments and tests, documenting treatments, interpreting diagnostic tests, assessing patient needs, applying nursing judgment, collaborating with the nursing team to develop a Plan of Care, and guiding ancillary staff to maintain professional standards. Requires maintenance of licensure and clinical competencies with emphasis on patient/family communication and care coordination across ages from infancy to late adulthood.
