Job Summary
Acute Care Physical Therapist PRN providing professional and technical physical therapy to assigned patients in a fast-paced acute care setting. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to evaluate, plan and implement treatments, conduct ongoing reassessment, and participate in discharge planning. Requires graduation from an accredited PT program, current BLS, a valid Texas license or temporary license, and at least 1 year of licensed PT experience. Demonstrates clear communication, collaborative relationships, accountability, initiative for professional growth, and commitment to improving the patient experience in a Magnet-designated hospital environment.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited baccalaureate or post-baccalaureate program in Physical Therapy
- Current Basic Life Support Certification
- Required Valid Texas License or Temporary License
- 1 year Licensed PT
