Job Summary
Physical Therapist for pediatric rehabilitation. Responsible for assessing, planning, organizing and participating in rehabilitative programs to improve mobility, relieve pain, increase strength, and prevent deformity. Implements treatment plans, selects appropriate activities, revises goals with patient/family input, and provides education and discharge instructions. Acts as a resource to staff, families, and physicians; collaborates with the physician on evaluation and plan of care; documents evaluations and treatment sessions; adheres to ethical standards, infection prevention, and department guidelines; participates in professional development and mandatory education. Must maintain licensure and meet all required certifications. Location: Augusta, ME (US).
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Physical Therapy or Master's Physical Therapy or Doctorate Physical Therapy
- PT - Physical Therapist
- BLS - Basic Life Support
- Additional License(s) and Certification(s)
- Effective communication skills, customer service focused, team oriented, and basic computer skills
