Acute Care - Physical Therapist (Peds) PRN

Job Summary
Implement physical therapy treatment plans, selecting activities to progress patients toward mobility, pain relief, and strength goals while revising care based on patient and family input. Conduct ongoing assessments in collaboration with physicians to establish and evaluate treatment programs, discharge plans, and realistic goals. Provide discharge instructions, follow-up referrals, and education to patients and families, documenting all evaluations, sessions, and training per departmental protocols. Maintain confidentiality, adhere to infection prevention precautions, and participate in staff meetings and professional development activities. Work part-time in acute care settings, requiring a physical therapy degree, licensure, and BLS certification.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors Physical Therapy or Masters Physical Therapy or Doctorate Physical Therapy
- PT - Physical Therapist
- BLS - Basic Life Support or ARC-BLS - Amer Red Cross Basic Life Support or BLS-I - Basic Life Support - Instructor

- Participates in professional development and mandatory education activities
- Completes core and annual competencies according to established departmental timelines
- Completes all educational requirements required by discipline to maintain licensure
- Completes all mandatory hospital and/or system mandatory requirements
